Being that this media player runs android itself, it matches well with an android-focused household. The device has "a chromecast built in" (though I doubt there's separate circuitry inside the device just for a chromecast) which... kinda works.
As far as Android TV devices go, it does everything it's supposed to. The reason i'm giving this two stars, however, is because of a really annoying situation where the system seems to become unresponsive to the remote when you try to turn it on.
Had kodi set up in less than an hour with this boy. I just wanted a fast kodi set up and this was it. It's definitely fast enough for my purposes. The box is still running really well. Would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.
I plugged it in and updated it to Oreo, then I messed around with it and set kodi and my NAS up for the house. The wife started watching NetFlix and 20 minutes in, it wen't to the home screen. Tried it again and wen't back to the home screen.
This little wonder-box is sturdy and well-built, tiny (will fit most anywhere), and easy to setup and use. I have been using mine for months. So far, my only caveat is that updates are performed while using it without prior notice.
