Good surveillance HDDs
In use 2 weeks and all seems fine running cool in and NVR enclosure
I gave the drive 4 stars overall and 3 on install because it does not handle Windows hard drive power saving correctly. The drive would be working fine and then suddenly a message that the drive hand dismounted unexpectedly. I finally figures out that if the drive was busy, it worked fine.

Installed and formatted fine. Using for synology survellience station..
Using two of these for my NVR system so I can record 9 cameras at 1080p for 24 hours a day. These things write and rewrite all the time with very little down time( downtime is only during routine maintenance). I have had zero inconsistency with these drives as compared to a few others I have used.
Worked well with my Zmodo NVR model ZP-NJ18-S. Has standard interfaces and the mounting holes were perfect. Easy to install. And formatted quickly. I understand this type of drive deliberately has a lower RPM to allow it to generate less heat. I'm thoroughly satisfied.
