Small, like its power
I chose this product because it was well rated, inexpensive, had modern Wifi protocols and was backwards compatible. In reality, it picks up my access point which is next door, but that's all. The various access points in the neighbourhood aren't even seen. Does its job, but forget the range.
For whatever reason our 2.4GHz signal is wonky in our house. Rather than upgrade my wife's laptop, I purchased this inexpensive device so she could use our 5GHz network. Simple and effective. Works!
A dongle that will serve well for an old laptop or fixed PC to be equipped with a correct wifi for daily use. But as far as the signal is concerned, the size without a long antenna obviously means that there will be no miracle. For a house with load-bearing walls, etc.
