TP-LINK is always reliable
When another Wi-Fi USB I had failed to function correctly by being accepted and recognized by the system, but never allowing a connection to a Wi-Fi network, I purchased this TP-LINK. Plugged it in. I waited for a few seconds for the drivers to install, and then proceeded to connect to the Wi-Fi.

RAS, works super well I recommend, but always better a network card but is more than enough for standard use.

Decent budget wireless adapter
Overall this is a decent wifi adapter if you're on a budget. It caps off at about 11 megabytes per second which is perfect for me but could be too slow for some. Occasionally the computer will get disconnected from the wifi but I have yet to figure out if that is a the adapter's problem or my wifi...

This is supposed to be a dongle compatible with Linux. But the chip is not recognized by the kernel and requires to compile a module. But the source code is buggy and either typo or wrong/obsolete library is used and the module doesn't compile right at the beginning and I don't have the time to...
