Exactly what I needed
Im using it to connect a digital mixer to a laptop in a gigging rig. Connects 2-5 devices together on a 100base-T network. Weighs next to nothing (power adapter, too), which means something in a travelling setup. Price is terrific, too.
Very good
Connected from a PLC to a computer and a printer. Functional at the first connection, nothing to reproach does its job.
Switch works great after tweak to computer hardware
At first, switch DL speed was very low, upload was good. After searching the TP-Link website, found a FAQ recommending setting computer NIC speed to Auto, I had set mine to '100 Full' many years ago based upon recommendations at that time.
I have one of these in my basement being fed from my router upstairs into port 5. I then have a second one in my den connected in series (daisy-chained) - i'm using port 1 to output ethernet cable from the basement to port 5 input in the den.. two outputs in the basement feeds a ps4 and a firestick.
Attention notice
The device works well, but the manual contains wrong information about the settings (IP address)
