I bought the SanDisk Extreme Pro MicroSDXC UHS-I U3 A2 V30 256GB Memory Card to use with my GoPro Hero9 Black. So far, I've been EXTREMELY SATISFIED with its performance. The SanDisk Extreme Pro is rated at a 95MB/s read and a 90MB/s write speed. However, I've consistently seen speeds above this.
I tested this using the appropriate USB 3.2 v2 rated card reader and computer port. It maintained at least 80 Mb sequential write throughout a 3 gig video file transfer. This is right for high bit rate high res video camera recording except use cases like dash cams that write continuously for long...
Not much to say about it that you can't get from the description of the product, and that is a good thing. Its fast, and it works well, holding plenty of storage. I don't know of a single device that would accept it as storage, and I've always used SanDisk for my SD and MicroSD needs.
I use my GoPro Hero 8 to record my bike rides. Previously I had bought a housing with an opening for a USB cable to provide power from an external battery pack. That brought me up to 1hr 12 min of video time. With this 256 gb memory card my estimated capacity is 4 hr 40 min at 4k 30 fps!
Definitely an improvement over my Samsung 64,128, 256gb SD Cards. Just opening random applications alone are worth the price difference in my Galaxy Tab S6. I will be purchasing a few more for my both my Microsoft Surface Book 2 laptops, my Ole Galaxy Note 9 (still rockin'), and my wife's Microsoft...
