Coming from an old plasma tv to this tv is night and day difference. I originally wanted to get the qn90a because of the better contrast. But after turning on the local dimming. Contrast is beyond my expectations. Colors can be super vibrant in different color modes. I prefer cool colors however.
The picture quality is amazing. Debated between this an an OLED for a couple months but went with the QLED due to the brightness of my livingroom. Blacks actually look black. The price definitely is a kick in the pants, but for the first time in a long time I felt like I actually paid a premium...
This 55" Samsung QLED 4K UHD TV replaced a very nice 16 year old 43" Pioneer plasma TV. The picture, clarity, color and brightness are fantastic and it uses much less electricity than the plasma TV. My wife can now read the captions on the screen and see things more clearly so she's happy.
This Samsung Neo QLED is freaking amazing! What an amazing TV! And it integrates seamless with my Samsung Smartthings and the Google home assistant. Setup is super quick. The picture is outstanding. Colors, whites and blacks are amazing. Definitely the best TV I've ever owned.
We use this TV in our east-facing living room, very sunny. The picture is awesome. I'm amazed at these reviews that claim they need to go through the settings and tweak as I found the auto-setup simple, quick and satisfactory. The built-in commercials are a bit of a drag though.
