I bought it as my third display connected to my Macbook. I have a Samsung TV which has worked well, so I have confidence in Samsung products. BUT this one is a huge disappoint. It DOESN'T work at all. My Macbook can detect it, but it never displays.
As you can see in the picture, there is some gaps between the monitor panel and the edges. When you're sitting at your desk it's fine but as soon as you get up, that's all you see. I had hope that the cheap price wouldn't reflect on its quality but i guess i was wrong.
if you are looking at the monitor from a high up angle (i.e getting up while it sits on your desk) you can see the screen and the frame of the monitor are slightly disconnected, otherwise its a great monitor
I have most of my stuff all Samsung and if I get the same quality as I have with my TV well it's worth the money.
The first unit I ordered had a vertical black band on the right hand side and weird light emitting along the top, as though part of the top layer of the screen was not aligned. Returned and ordered a second thinking it was a one-off defect, but the second had the exact same issue. Photo attached.
