good buy
they connect with a single rca jack into the sound card with a separate power supply and I like the design of the volume control that can reach to your desk. easy to set up and use.
Highly disappointing
Flat sound, low volume, lack of fidelity. Bought these to replace tiny cheap computer speakers bought 5 years ago. Unfortunately once I plugged them I realized my previous crummy speakers were twice as good. If you're looking for anything more than below average sound quality look elsewhere.

I haven't had these speakers long but so far so good. Will keep advised of any circumstances that change this review.
Bought these as replacement speakers for our new computer. I bought the computer as a tower only replacement for our 14yr. old desktop because we already had newer peripherals. The sound quality is great. My husband has a cover band and does all the music arragements.
