Kingston SSD
I bought this SATA compatible SSD to speed up my Dell 10 year old laptop. Installation was a breeze (although I obviously had to reinstall the operating system and programs) and the increase in speed is very significant. A highly recommended upgrade if you have an older laptop or PC.
I wouldn't use them as the main drive in my computer, they are great for storage drives, make perfect drives for offline storage or media players
decent if you can get it for a good price
-probably wouldn't but this model again just because i like to really be able to feel the speed in the SSD
This is my second kingston a400 unit. The first 240gb has been running 24/7 for 6 months now and the 480gb drive going on a week. I have a Samsung 860 Evo for my OS and more frequently played games and to be honest outside of YouTube benchmarks I can't tell the difference in performance at all.
A reliable and affordable SSD
This product never seems to disappoint. I have upgraded many laptops/notebooks that have slowed down over time, mainly due to the fact that the laptops/notebooks originally came with Hard Disk Drives. They turn an old PC into a workhorse again.
