I found these ear phone to be very simple to start using. They are comfortable and don't stick too far into the ear canal. The sound is excellent, and there are no problems with the one ear connecting to the other, which I had before with other models. They slide easily into the charging enclosure.
Pros Fit in ear comfortably Great for smaller ear canals Works great for phone calls, no one could tell I was talking through my headphones vs the phone. Cons Left ear started to get loose After a year and a half, the plastic piece that goes in your ear started to become separate from the ear piece.
I have an old tethered pair of JBL earbuds that are probably like 8 years old and still work fine. They only hold like 2-3 hours of charge but work great even though they are falling apart. Six months in on my first pair of these the right earbud stops charging.
They work well enough to be able to sit in a quiet room and listen to an audiobook (defeating the purpose of really having in earbuds), these are worthless to be able to listen to anything other than music on an airplane as the highest maximum volume will not drown out jet engines.
Very, very quiet compared to other ear buds I’ve used. However, their noise cancelling ability does allow me to hear my music despite being at a lower volume…probably better for my hearing long term despite wanting a higher volume overall. I use these at the gym. I work hard. I sweat a lot.
