You get what you pay for
After having 2 beats headphones, I thought I would try these. I would pay a little more next time for the Beats headphones. The bass isn’t as good, and I still haven’t figured out all the buttons to activate my iPhone. Also, when using my headphones to make a call, I often use only one earbud.
Nice product but they emit static noise
They are really good quality product, good battery, good sound when listening at high volumes. However during playback they emit very silent white noise. If you listen on low volumes it is really frustrating. When you pause, the noise stays for ~2 seconds and disappears.
Tricky to get any decent sound from them
Initially, these sounded very trebly and virtually no bass. This is with a normal fitting default medium size ear gel. It requires changing to the large ear gel, and subsequently getting an extra tight ear fit, to then have proper sound, and have significant bass.
The last set I had were Beats Flex and wish I had bought those this time. Audio quality on the JBL is just average and the magnets that hold the buds together when not using are weak. The Beats pause play when the magnets come together and it's a great feature that JBL should consider.
Sound is fine, but fall out too easily to use.
They don't stay in my ears well at all, even trying out the different earbuds. This isn't helped by the fact that the strap is heavy enough to pull at them when I move my head around, or somewhat just sitting.
