Good price, but strange features.
I bought this radio to replace an old unit the failed. It was a great price for the unit, but it seems many features have been removed. The alarm can’t be set to repeat every day and must be reset every day for the next day. Also the days of the week can’t be selected for the alarm.
Great Radio Alarm Clock
The shape is small to fit on nightstand. It is very easy to set up. The sound quality is disappointing for JBL/Harmon. The radio-alarm only play for 2-3 minutes and shuts off.
Congratulations! You can now choose between Auto - 5 for brightness. Personally I like 3. 4 and 5 are so bright it illuminates the inner screen enough to not be as black as the clock face. I set a couple of fm stations and checked the sound. Not bad.
Great radio and clock...
What a find! We are actually not using this for its intended purpose as an alarm clock, but as a radio and low-level light in one of our rooms. We've become so reliant (in our house) on streaming services, that we forgot how nice it is to have an actual radio present.
This JBL Horizon was so close to being perfect. The sound quality is so great, and better than other alarm clock/radio/bluetooth speakers I tested, and it's super easy to use. The display is nice and easy to read, and I love that it includes the day of the week along with the date.
