Most relevant
Improved quality over previous generations
Hadn't used the HP ProBook's since Gen 5 because the plastic / build quality felt cheap and lower than consumer grade. Decided to give the Gen 9 a try as my usual go to laptops were not available and was pleasantly surprised at the improved build quality.
Best for Professional
This laptop is for professional. Being an engineer, this has all features. Win 11 Pro, i7 , 32 gb ram, Rj-45, type c connector for docs and charging. Monitor brightness is nice. Sound and cameras are nice. I like 15.6 inch better to view all in a one big monitor.
UPDATE: Vendor contacted me and I was able to activate the license by using a DOS command to retrieve the license code which was not on the box or in the paperwork that came with the laptop. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars. This computer was advertised as having Windows Pro 11.
The worst thing about this is the charger. It has a regular round port to plug a charger in, but instead of giving me that charger, they give me a USB-C charger, which takes up one of the ports. I wanted USB-C ports for other things and now, I'm stuck.
So far so good! The laptop is a little bigger and a little heavier than the laptop I am replacing but set-up was very easy and all is working just fine at the moment.
