Poor paper feed design!
Have had for a while. Although it's print quality is good, the paper feed is atrocious!. Once a print job is completed, almost invariably I have to pull the paper tray and put pressure on the stack to get the paper to again feed properly.
HP Officejet Pro 6230
Our major problem was trying to use this machine as a wireless. We ended up connecting a USB cord from the printer to the computer which works well...so far...but limits using other devices such as my tablet or cell phone with the printer. We've no idea what happened.
Printer is a work horse
This is my 2nd HP 6230 printer. First one lasted 4 years of heavy use. A bit slow but great quality. Highly recommend. Very inexpensive.
2 Year Lifespan
It's a decent printer for the price. Only lasted 2.5 years in an office setting with light printing (maybe 80 pages a week.) Off-brand cartridges have been the demise of 3 printers in the recent years, I am firmly ink-tank only from now on.
I have never had this much trouble getting a printer set up. I thought it would be a "two-button" set-up, but it is not. I spent a little over an hour on HP's customer support line before a supervisor intervened to actually try to help.
