Initial Setup Shows Promise
Overall, I think this 255-G8 is a great value and hits a lot of the component spec needs without the added costs of silver-metal chassis (and maybe a touch less of screen quality). 5 eggs for its intended uses and specs.
Great user experience
Worked on HP for years at companies before. Finally bought my own personal notebook. Loads of storage, excellent graphics and lightweight and very quiet. On startup automatically udated to Win11 Home and after setup on first start up the machine runs and runs.
Great Value for the price
I purchased this laptop a few weeks back to be able to work on the road. So far it has worked very well and done all that I have asked of it.
My old computer was 7 years old and ready to be replaced. I have always had an HP laptop. It synced with my other HP products and my IPad and IPhone with ease as well. It is fast and just as easy to setup and use.
Great Machine
I bought one of these for myself about a year ago and, being entirely satisfied with it, decided to invest in one for my husband when his laptop needed replacing. I've had no problems with mine at all and highly recommend this laptop to anyone wanting to upgrade to a faster, more reliable machine.
