Works great
Was skeptical but really needed something that reliably worked with my Nikon speedlight and would operate with high speed sync. The Nikon SU800 was tempermental and would often just stop working during a shoot, which proved quite an embarrassment for me. This has not failed once yet.

Great flash
I photographed my first wedding using this flash. Very easy to use and very consistent exposures. Love the HSS. I did an outdoor engagement sitting today and the HSS allowed me to shoot at f2.8 to f4 in bright sun. The results are amazing. The Li-Ion battery lasts forever.

A nice upgrade form the X1R-N Trigger.
I started off with the X1R-N and really fell in love with the Godox system. I decided to get the Xpro and that larger display by itself is worth the upgrade. Also, a button for each individual channel is much faster than scrolling through the menu on the X1R.

Works great
I am not a big fan of on camera flash, but there are times when you just have to have it and other times when it can really improve your photo. I recently purchased my first Nikon, a D500. Coming from Olympus and Canon before that, I didnt have a flash that worked with my Nikon.

Long recycle time
With a fully charged battery, after shooting for about an hour, the recycle time goes from about 2-3 seconds to about 15 seconds. Not good at all for wedding photography....or any, quite frankly. Maybe this one is a dud.
