I was able to get an almost like new X-S10 reasonably priced and have been using it for about a week. Here are some of my initial impressions. Note that I started with and keep a Pentax system, and am comparing the X-S10 to the excellent Pentax KP.

More like Nikon/Canon with mode dial being a PASM dial instead of the usual Fujifilm setup. Small camera, about the size of the X-T30, but it has a very deep grip and IBIS. Nice size and weight for that all day jaunt, but when shooting longer or heavier lenses I still prefer the X-H1.

This is my first camera other than from Canon eco system. I purchased X-S10 as my second camera in addition to my trusted Canon 5Dmk3 that I couldn't sell because it is still my fav camera for reportage photography (and World Press Photo 2021 results say the same).

After a few days with the X-S10 I'm pleased with the purchase but its taking a lot of getting used to - after the last few years with Fuji X series many things just work differently - some better some worse and others just different.
