So far so good
Having never played a Souls or Souls like game, this one interested me for some reason. It's hard, and I'm trying to be patient, but I have limited time to play. However, I see myself playing this one as much as I can. Beautiful game, controls are pretty intuitive, and I like the lore.
First time souls player
The game is quite difficult don't get me wrong but the feeling you get from beating a tough enemy is unparalleled. I honestly love this game and completely suggest you give it a try. My biggest tip is if you're stuck on a boss go adventure explore the world a bit it's really rewarding
Not Skyrim lol
This is my first From Software game. I was hoping for something kind of like Skyrim. It took me a while to get used to the difficulty and I needed a quest guide at first, but it's fun how many different combat play styles are actually viable.
Game Og The Year? YES!!
Listen...Ive been a fan of the Souls series since Demons Souls. Now, I'm not good at the games AT ALL!! I was still very hyped for Elden Ring to come out and the gam3 definitely does not disappoint. Its easier to get into yet, still as challenging as its predecessors and it has so much depth to it.
Updates and grinding.
I loved the game when I first bought it but the balancing updates messed up my first 2 characters once I got internet and I haven’t wanted to grind a 3rd out yet. Only reason it’s 4 stars, but should have a 4 & 1/2 or 3/4 (spent a total of about 50 hours on the first 2) bc what I hate is so small...
