Unlike the previous release of the G5 (5587), this one was done correctly: Excellent display, thin bezel, good keyboard. no floppy access cover. It's a little skimpy on status indicator lights (it only has one), which appears to be the de facto standard nowadays. All in all highly recommendable.
Very happy with the hardware. I has a blue light-up keyboard I didn't expect and when plugged in plays games extremely well. Nice weight, screen, sturdyness and temperature control. The power cord end also lights up making it easy to find and know its still plugged in.
I bought this laptop a month ago after moving on from a Surface 4. It does everything I ask of it really well, except audio which it does horrendously. If it weren't for audio woes, I'd have given this four stars and my only gripe would've been the screen not being perfect.
Bought it for my personal computer as I didn’t want to use a desk top anymore and my surface isn’t great for playing games. It has good resolution and the pictures are sharp and clear. I was deciding between this and alien ware and I’m glad I bought this instead.
