A true work horse
Ive had this bad babe for probably 3-4 years and she still holds true. Despite alll I've put her through. She is starting to hit her prime with the new and latest applications (cannot handle vr btw). Still, i cannot help but appreciate what she has done for me.
Great for school and gaming.
I'm using this laptop for a schoolwork/light gaming machine. Office programs work without incident. Great value laptop for video editing
I edit video often and wanted the ability to work with Adobe Premier Pro and other resource intensive software while out and about. I still use my desktop when I can, but this works great while away. Wanted a decent GPU for productivity and gaming, the GTX 1060 works well.
Great Laptop After Much Research! Be careful though!
In short: Good computer, BUT could have been a very bad purchase if I didn't create a 'restore point' right away. In long: I bought this computer after reading several others were having issues with the graphics card/windows. I received this laptop on 12/10/2018. I am writing this on 12/16/2018.
Underpowered to begin with, good laptop after some upgrades
The first thing I did when I received this was replace the RAM, SSD and HDD with better components. The SSD was only 128GB, I upgraded that to a 512GB, replaced the 5400rpm HDD with a 7200rpm, and upgraded the RAM to 16GB. Overall a good laptop after the upgrades.
