I purchased this as a second body with the 18-55mm IS kit lens. It has produced some excellent quality pictures (Mostly outdoors but some indoors as well.) It is light-weight and easy to take around with my 1200D (Canon Rebel T5).

Great replacement for the SL2
I owned the Canon SL2 before this, its a nice little upgrade. I can now shoot in 4K video, it looks great. I use a 10 to 18mm lens when shooting 4K, because the crop is super close with other lenses. Quality is great just like my SL2, and all of my lenses fit perfectly.

I know this is an entry level camera but I'd urge you not to select this camera. Take a look at a Fuji X-T30 over this one. Canon really crippled this camera. 2 huge setbacks are having to use Canon brand flashes and receivers when using the hotshoe, and taking away 1080 at 24 FPS.

This camera has a sensor of 24.1MP APS-C CMOS, 22.3 x 14.9mm. It has an image processor, which is DIGIC 8. It will give you a 9 point face detection with an ISO range from 100 to 25,600. It is easy to click image sizes of about 6000 X 4000.

Great Camera for learning photography
I purchased this camera because I am taking an intro to photography class in college. So far this has been a great camera. The picture quality is great and so is the battery life. I was in between the M50 and the SL3 but ended up going with the SL3 due to the better battery life.
