Exactly what I needed for my yard
These speakers are awesome. They are very loud very clear crisp the base sounds great. It actually feels like I’m at a concert. I have them in my backyard one towards my pool the other tour, my patio and you can hear the music everywhere.
Just do it.
Replaced some ancient 151's with these and the difference is significant. The treble from the oddly named 'twiddlers' is bright alive, and the bass is much better than I expected from relatively small drivers, and also based on some of the reviews i'd read.
Well balanced and pleasant sound
The sound is really good and well balanced. I tried other brands but they either sounded harsh or hollow. The sound from Bose is not as loud as those of other brands but pleasant. The shape and size is also sharp looking. Paired with a subwoofer, these would be perfect.
Performed side by side A/B sound comparison w Klipsch AW-650 and Klipsch AW-525. Bose 251 are clearly inferior in sound - dull and muffled in comparison. Both Klipsch models sound more live and realistic, and 650 sound best. In sound quality Klipsch AW-650 outperform Bose 251 by a LONG shot.
I would buy it again
