Have not used yet, but it is a UK plug, NOT a mainland Europe plug
This iron is made for the UK, Ireland, etc., NOT for mainland Europe (which was my assumption from the words "European Cord"). I will be taking this on a trip to Belgium tomorrow, and because it's 220v, I should still be able to use it there...
