For roughly the same price I paid for a gaming laptop with a gtx1050, it’s a major upgrade for me. It looks very professional and not too over the top with gamer aesthetics. The screen is great on my unit, especially with the thin bezels thought it does have a noticeable chin with the asus logo.
I tested this with a few games, all unmodded unless otherwise stated, and here are my results: Resident Evil 2 - runs fine on mid to high settings, does NOT run fine on max settings due to low VRAM Skyrim VR - runs fine on max settings, but I suspect that it will struggle with a lot of mods.
Good CPU (up to 5Ggh - turbo profile), but what really matters is a powerful rtx 3070 8Gb laptop graphics card, this is really a gaming laptop with good power management (four power profiles including overclocking - turbo profile and a good power saving profile) when running on battery) Armoury...
My laptop works pretty good. I had a couple of technical issues (eg NVidia video card disappearing) and tech support was absolutely unhelpful (after spending a very long time with them). Check the specs on the machine you are buying because there are similar models with different features.
