Great laptop. Runs games flawlessly at high FPS, quality build, great laptop. One big flaw though, the mediatek WiFi card is absolutely garbage. I couldn't use the laptop wirelessly unless I was right next to router, even then sometimes the 5G signal wouldn't work but the 2G would, other times Vice...
I bought this laptop and it worked fine initially. Then it started having issues while gaming. It would be plugged in, but start operating off battery power intermittently while in graphics intensive games. I bought additional power supplies as I assumed it was a power issue.
I am a creative professional, who needed a laptop to edit, pictures, videos, make some motion design stuff and experiment with 3D stuff. Now I was coming from an all in one desktop set up called Lenovo 520, which limited me from trying many things, such as 3d but it was good enough for 1080p video...
It's able to run two high graphics demand games at once while streaming, which I tested just to see what limits it might have. The only thing I feel should be pointed out is that after downloading the newest Nvidia drivers it will no longer be able to run in turbo without crashing.
Got this at a great price and it has been working really well. I tested out several games and can tell you that heat is not much of an issue but getting a cheap external cooling fan always helps. Plays New World on the highest settings without issue. Plays Doom Eternal without issue. Very fast.
