Works well so far
I am new to the Apple Pencil, and it works as described so far. However, I also need to find additional apps that it will work well with. Note: the instructions say to use it on (compatible) iPad only, and not other devices, so I imagine it would not work on a phone.
Feels Great
Feels good in hand. Like a real pencil. Weight distribution is good. Not heavy. Don’t need a pencil cover; this pencil is not slippery in the hand. Bought 2. 1 for iPad Air and one for iPad. Pro. Love using it for drawing with Procreate.
Like a smooth gel pen.
I love putting pen to paper, and the feeling is mimicked perfectly using the 2nd generation Apple Pencil. The double tap erase feature makes it even better. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who owns a newer iPad.
Great pencil but eraser feature not so great.
Writes great but tap to change to eraser doesn’t work good. To bad the top doesn’t function as an eraser like a regular pencil.
Significant Improvement
I love the new pencil. The wireless charging is awesome. The former method of plugging it in to charge it was not convenient at all. Also, the writing quality has been significantly improved. If you are looking to buy an iPad and pencil, I would go with the newest just to be able to buy this pencil.
