Great product
It was super easy to connect, just clucking on the connect button if it and WPS on my router and walla! The signal strength was greatly weakened by the double skin wall between my lounge and office but moving the the main router and this repeater to almost within sight of each other with only a closed door in the way raised the signal strength to the needed level perfectly reflecting the source routers signal speed.
Crossed my fingers this extender worked with MAC addy filtering, it does! You will need to get 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz mac addresses and input them, then connect this bad boy and enjoy! Finally a great extender that works with mac filtering! Easy setup, nice interface, mine had a firmware update that helped.
It works great - and looks nice..!
The first thing I would say is that it looks really nice - so if you're going to connect it somewhere that's 'in the eye', it will look nice.
Now for the functionality. I read a detailed post here that you it doesn't allow for separate 2.4G and 5G connections - it absolutely does. I specifically bought this to extend the 2.4G WiFi range for smart devices such as smart motor gate and smart light switches that don't work on 5G.
Amazing. I've tried such things before (not often) and always found them half-baked. Not this one. Pluses: + Super easy installation + Dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5Ghz + Inexpensive + And the reason I bought it: to extend my WiFi to my basement woodshop where I have a Sonos speaker. It just works.

Product covers more area than my previous WiFi Extender and the reason for buying this unit was that it supports Mesh Ethernet Backhaul (cable) with my current TP-Link router to extend my mesh network even further so it does not have to use one of the WiFi channels to setup the Mesh network. Mesh allows a single WiFi SSID and your devices can easily roam to the best MESH access point and not hold onto a weak connection that happens with the older style WiFi extenders.
