I have previously used other branded straighteners and this one actually best one I have used so far. I have quite curly/wavy and thick hair and this actually helps to maintain my hair straight all day long!
Old faithful
I am in the market looking for a new straightener because my Remington S-1005 stopped working. I think the wiring at the swivel end is loose. Nevertheless, this straightener has lasted me about 4 years and I think it deserves a review before I lay it to rest. This was the first pair I owned. I didn't use it more than a few times every few months but it never failed me. The heat settings were great although I always stuck with the third level.
The best
I love this particular brand of straighteners! They always seem a lot hotter and have a smoother finish than the more expensive brands.
Superb smooth straighteners
I loved these straighteners! It has a sleek, black matte finish, ceramic Teflon-coated plates (which makes for very smooth results), a safety lock to close the straighteners & a 6 settings dial (not digital) from 180oC to 230oC temperature control. It does have an LED indicator to show which settings you have chosen ( which stops flashing when they're ready) but it does not give you an actual reading, it has 3 red light LED's: 1 LED=140oC-170oC 2 LED=170oC-200oC 3...

I borrowed these straighteners off of my friend and they were great, I am soo extremely picky about straighteners and these are by far the best ones I have EVER had! But I cant find them, my old babyliss ones were disgustingly bad, and i'm trying to find these as a replacement as I have tried and tested them, and loved them, but cant find them anywhere :( Definitely worth buying, if they come back in stock!
