The graphics and sound are not as good as PC, PS4, or XBone, but the gameplay is the same. Always having to be connected to the internet is a horrible idea, but if you can tether your phone to your switch, and have unlimited data, its great for portable play.

I've got 350 hours on xbox just got it for switch for travel. Ganeplay is exactly up to par with console versions. Graphics are lacking but that's just the switch's limitations. I would recommend getting a pro controller as it is very hard to use the joycons and consistently do combos, I can get used to it but off the bat I couldnt, and it feels weird.

If you like Mortal Kombat then you will love this game. It would have gotten a 5 star rating, but the load times are too long. Once you get going its a fun, action-packed fighting game.

I used to play Mortal Kombat with my brother and cousins as a kid. Now I play it again with them as an adult and with my younger cousin, who has recently been introduced to it. He was shocked to find out that myself and his father knew the characters, and have been playing it for 20+ years. It’s just as fun as I remember, but I do have to say a bit more brutal than I remember. I love it though and the memories it brings up and creates!

I like the new idea of exploring the crypt. The game is a solid fighting experience like the previous games. The fighter selection isn't very big. Most of the fighters from previous games aren't there, just the big names like Scorpion, Subzero, Raiden, etc. Most are new characters. The new characters are great just a heads up if your favorite character isn't there. The Test Your _____ minigames are not there.
