Sturdy machine
Has held up to daily use over the last few years. Can get bogged down by heavier use (too many tabs in chrome and demanding excel usage, etc). I take that with a grain of salt as that was expected when I bought them, as it's not what it was designed for, but besides that, it has physically held up great along the way. Still using today.
Poorly designed
I use this laptop for work. I do not like it. There are three things that are just poorly engineered:
1. The hinges are too tight so cannot set the laptop on a desk and open it with one hand. You lift the whole laptop off the desk. This annoys me every time.
2. The heat exhausts out of the right side. If youre using a mouse, the laptop puffs hot air at your hand.
3. The Fn and Ctrl keys are places compared to most other laptops.
Very pleased, this is our second Lenovo ThinkPad
This is or second Lenovo ThinkPad. We have had one for several years, it was time for an additional lap top so we each have our own, my husband and I. We have thoroughly enjoyed the reliability and features of the ThinkPad and it was a no brainer when it was time to purchase another laptop we went straight to Lenovo Thinkpad for the purchase.
Perfect for a mobile life
I needed a laptop for returning to college and chose the X390 Yoga. It is perfect for what I needed. Its light weight and quick. The tablet mode is extremely convenient when im reading documents for the course. When I need to use the laptop feature it takes up little space and meets all my needs. I like the usb c charging port over the traditional laptop charging port. Great laptop!
Great light and fast home computer
Got this ThinkPad X390 for a personal (home) computer for taxes, bills, emails, and pictures. My buying experience was excellent. I got in to a chat online with an assistant, described what I was looking for and why, and they recommended this one. Perfect choice for size, weight, storage, and speed. And my wife and I are very comfortable and familiar with using it. Great for sitting on the couch or patio due to the size and weight. I like the ease in set-up as well.
