Awesome cpu!
Awesome processor for the price! Installed it on my ASUS Creator B660 motherboard and Windows 10 runs very zippy now! No need to upgrade to Windows 11 yet as I'm still enjoying Win 10 but my computer is ready whenever I'm ready.
Nice mix between power and value for Spring 2023
A nice mix between power and value for Spring 2023. It runs Windows 11 quite nicely and has plenty of power left under the hood for apps and games.
This offers a large amount of computational power for the price; and it also has an integrated GPU that is fairly descent, which allows you to choose to defer a Graphics Card purchase. If you are building a PC on a budget, this is massive, since GPU prices are still stratospheric.
I am exceptionally happy with my build.

This is such an amazing processor for the price. The performance and snappiness is incredible. This will fit all your gaming needs while you're streaming, watching YouTube, and working on spreadsheets at the same time. The temps can run kinda high so definitely try to watercool if you're doing any sort of overclocking at all. Overall this run much better to me than the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and has much smoother and consistent performance.

I bought this CPU for my first ever PC that I built myself. I wanted to get the latest CPU from Intel where I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading for a good minute. I did consider the 12900k but the price is way too steep for me and I was not going to benefit from it anyway. I built my PC just for enthusiast gaming+streaming and multitasking music production. The 12700k was the right choice just for that alone!
Sick CPU!
Dope cpu that is providing a huge upgrade over my buddy's old i5 7500. No idea why it took so long to upgrade but it was definitely worth it. He can now play "my little pony" on max settings in 4k resolution!
Glad these don't come with a useless stock cooler that gets thrown out anyways. Make sure you grab a cooler and that the cooler has the correct bracket.
