I highly recommend this simple to set up, you can count on it printer, especially after very frustrating recent experiences with other brands. It does what it says. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise. I wish it was - and sounded - smoother. It works and Im very relieved.

I want to like this printer but when I most need to print something in a rush, there is always some error code or problem that takes a while to trouble-shoot. I find that exasperating. It has a very simple interface but if something goes wrong--it'll take you an hour or two to fix it.

I had an older model HP printer that did all of the tough jobs I needed to do like printing photos that are clear, using different paper types (glossy, thick, etc.), scanning and copying with ease and at a quick rate of speed. This one is better than the one I had. I LOVE it. It prints clearly, quickly and I've used the different papers I use in my graphic projects to my absolute delight. I highly recommend this printer. Its worth it.

The printer is good for making copies, however if you want to print be ready to go through several trouble shooting steps each time you want to use it. When the printer sits idle for a few hours, an error message blinks and you must unplug the device to reboot it. If you want to scan or FAX - dunno... never can get the device to scan or FAX.

Only time will truly tell and we have only had this about a month. It seems perfect for our household needs - 2 adults, 2 high schoolers, and a small bookkeeping business. My only issue so far is I can't figure out how to print from Adobe without using the smart app. If I use control+P from within Adobe it seems to go into la-la land. The app is definitely not as convenient. Other than that, we all like the upgrade from our old printer!
