Awesome sequel to 2016 Doom for PS4. Graphics are upgraded and amazing in the PS5. Best installment yet in the doom series of games, and I’ve been playing them since all the way back in 1995, OG Doom!

I have been plaing doom since the beginning and have always enjoyed the franchise but... This game is harder than it should be on the easy settings. I always play every game on the easiest and progress to the hardest but the tougher enemies show up early in the game, they are fast, resurrect out of nowhere and more powerful than they should be on the easier setting. The weapons are slow, clunky, and complicated.

Overall the game is fun and entertaining if you like fast pace games. The brutalities are amazing and unique for every enemy, story was great, and the upgrade system is really amazing.

I loved Doom 2016. I was hoping for more of the same (and even better) with Doom Eternal but this game changes up the formula and offers a very different style of gameplay than what was in Doom 2016. I personally don't care for it as much. For example, Doom 2016 had combat encounters that felt more themed or scenario-based. As in, fight five of this particular enemy, or fight from this particular piece of terrain.

Literally took me forever the first time I played this game, it DEFINITELY hasn’t gotten any easier. Super fun still. If you haven’t played any of the DOOM games but you played Last of Us, then you’ll probably enjoy these games
