Fun Souls for the Summer
I've only played Dark Souls: Remastered, but let me say it does not disappoint. I teetered on the thought of purchasing and playing these games for a while. I, like many gamers, was told of the high difficulty in playing these games. That is here, no question. The thing more people should include, however, is that the game is only as difficult as you make it. You have all the tools necessary to surmount your goals.
Not Feeling it Now
I installed all 3. I played DS1 and didn't like it. Too old school. I then played a little of DS2 and didn't like it. 1 and 2 seem very old and quirky... Almost like a South Park feel. I will probably play 3 this weekend. I checked out some of the gameplay for 3 on line and it looks a lot better. If 3 rises to the occasion, then I'll change my rating. I hope so.
Highly Recommended
I had a ton of fun playing this series on xbox, so when i got it for playstation i knew i had to beat them again. I highly recommend any of the darksouls games to anyone who wants a challenging game with a deep lore and history. The multiplayer for 2 is kinda off, but for 1 and 3 its spot on.
GREAT FOR NEWCOMERS AND VETS ALIKE
All games with all dlc with an amazing steel book thrown in not really much more to say. If your a huge fan of the series or if you've just watched one of the millions of YouTube videos about this is the definitive way to play the games that changed how people defined what made a games hard.
Prepare to die
It's got all three Dark Souls with DLC. Great value.
