Solid, precise, well engineered…it’s a Bosch. Smooth motor which is relatively quiet. 16T blade is a good compromise; a good all rounder. Common blade diameter and bore. Up to now, very good cuts in soft wood, MDF, particle board, OSB and kitchen laminate. Add to this a long cord (4m) and a strong, plastic case all at a reasonable price and it’s five stars all round.

This saw replaces a 30 year old Bosch tht finally gave up the ghost, and it is a worthy successot being well balanced and powerful enough to go through timber, plastic or mdf with ease. The start is smooth enough to make it easy to control, even if resuming a long cut.

Nice and quiet saw, very easy to setup and get going and with the new blade you ca tell the difference if you're cutting through air or chipboard, very smooth going and easy to cut Unit came with a case which I wasn't expecting so was a lovely surprise although it probably was mentioned in the listing but I missed that

I purchased this “professional” circular saw to dismantle and recycle a 12 metre decking. Having borrowed a rival brand (retailing at about half of the price) to start the job, I was able to appreciate the superior quality and performance of the Bosch professional status tool.
