After about three months of use the tall blender cup suddenly stopped working. The reason can be seen in the photo. The blade is driven by the rotor through six plastic pins on the bottom. These broke causing the blade to no longer spin. The only thing the blender was used for is making smoothies. For comparison, a basic Ninja blender has lasted me for three years and counting doing the exact same thing.
It is very loud , when blending food and it is not always easy and accurate to blend it. Had already food everywhere as based went out when taking up. It is in some way nice product and it does what it should, but design and loud level destroy a lot , as I am using it for baby weaning, shame the next generation is a bit different , so it is impossible to buy a whiskers and use it.
It's a very good food processor that is easy to use and has good easy instructions. It is powerfull enough to slice my very veg thin. However I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a third thicker cut blade for the veg and it doesn't have a chip maker. However it works really well. The coffee grinder grinds fine for expresso. It's powerful and does everything in a second. The thing is this a nice compact little machine which does not need so much space.
I bought this product as I have recently started adding grated carrot to ALL foods that I make. Grating carrot with my cheese greater was long and tedious. With the grating plate included in this, my carrots are grated in seconds! I have used the food processor to make cookies and I have blended ingredients for juices and smoothies. I would happily recommend this product.
Spent some time researching best food processors and this came up again and again as 'best value' in a variety of multi-product reviews. I'm really pleased with it, all the bits work well, it has LOADS of features/tools and just does the job. Winner!
