Great colors, I have two of these and they both came calibrated. I purchased these for the purpose of photo and video editing and I am pleased with them. I checked both of them with my Datacolor Spyder5 Elite and they didn't require any color calibration out of the box. I do some gaming on them as well but the frame rate is not up to the task for pro gamers. Just to have that said. The DP cables that came with the monitors sucks.

May 21, 2020: Nvm, the issue was actually caused by my GPU which was bought back in 2013. So the monitor is truly a good choice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 2020: Everything works fine except at the bottom right corner, where horizontal white slashes starts to show(see image for reference).

The picture quality is great. I love how it calibrates. It also includes a really nice, sturdy, adjustable base. I've only had it for a couple weeks, so not sure about durability. As expected, the built-in speakers are not very good (no stars deduction as this is normal). I did test them, but decided I would hook up my old speakers.

I have been using the BenQ PD2700Q as my only monitor with a Surface Pro 4 with MS Docking Station. The main purpose for the monitor was for software development using Visual Studio. The Surface Pro 4 display setting are set to 125% Scaling, Landscape, Duplicate the display. The monitor works great for development and daily use. The Active signal resolution is 2560x1440.

I have had many monitors over the last ten years and since I enjoy photography I am always looking for the best monitor for this purpose. The BenQ PD2700Q 27 inch monitor is without question the best one I have yet to find. It makes all the other monitors in my computer room (five of them total) look dull and uninviting. My computers are all custom made with the latest chips and graphic cards. This monitor works great for photo editing to gaming to UHD movies.
