What could have been
Battlefield 2042 is a pretty enjoyable multiplayer. Battle in vast dynamic maps, large-small skirmishes, and unlock a huge arsenal of weapons and vehicles. A lack of single player campaign and inital multiplayer release state are the only things holding this title back
Needs some more online game modes.
From all the bugs I'd previously heard it had I was surprised that most all of the remaining bugs are graphics related that I can tell. However I do feel the game could definitely use a more diverse spectrum of game modes to choose from, much like battlefield 1 which had many online game modes compared to only 2 online game modes. Other than that enjoyable game so far.
The cons of 2042
Its not what I expected.. Its kind of cartoonish battlefield 4 was built way better. And why in the heck didn't they put range marks in the sniper scopes.. And why is x20 the strongest scope on this game that I have found so far. Bf4 had a x40 and these maps are much larger.
Missed the mark.
Doesn't have boats like battlefield 4. The destruction of buildings is not like battlefield 4. The graphics are nice. The classes and being able to have different special abilities for each character are cool. Overall they missed the mark to improve on battlefield 4 and make it better. Kind of feels like a downgrade compared to 4.
Not a good Battlefield experience
Had high hopes for the new Battlefield. This game feels more like a large DLC for another game. Few weapons to chose from, no dedicated classes or real incentive to level grind. Hit detection is spotty . I say skip this game for now and maybe get it a year from now when dice patches it .
