Do not buy this appliance. The metal parts oxidize readily and plastics parts get unstuck or break, even when handling with care. I do not intend to buy a Kenwood product ever again.

The plastic container at the top touches the grater and micro plastic particles in fact get into the juice. It is obviously a designers fault. Very disappointing, as we considered this ti be a top product.

Love this juicer, originally had a cheaper brand which pegged out after a LOT OF USE fair enough too ! This machine is sturdy, heavy, well made and the pulp comes out dry, great sign of a good juicer. Oh and it`s much cheaper that other brands of the same motor size.

Hey reviewer above, you got 9 days more than me! I bought this juicer, it was one of the most expensive where I looked and it did exactly as you describe on my first day! Mid way through my 4th juice (over the day), motor stops, no more juicing.....
