Lightning charge vs magsafe
Love the 3rd generation over the 2nd. They fit in my ears better and feel more balanced. The drawback to this particular model is that it must be plugged in the charge. It does not have the mag safe charging case that other 3rd generation versions have.

if you look at the specs, these were released in Oct 2021. The new 3rd gen were released Sept 2022. The newer 3rd gen are sweat and water resistant. 6 hr listening time and 30 hr battery life. Not sure how these compare.

I understood going in to this purchase that the sound would be lacking, simply because of the maker of these. When compared to many of my other wireless buds, that was an understatement. (I have an addiction to wireless headphones) The only real "pro" would be the strong connection...

The sound from these is amazing without a doubt. The physical design is where they fail for me. First, the stalks/stems or whatever you want to call them are too short and make it a pain to handle. Secondly, these don't stay put like my older wired earbuds from Apple.

Shopping experience was great with Stapes. The 3rd Gen are a bit loose on the ear compared to gen 1&2 which fit better in the ear in my experience. Need a little time to get accustomed to the shape. Other than that great sound and great upgrades.
