My wife was using a larger Windows laptop and it was simply not delivering on the performance and battery life. There was no way to justify its size. I upgraded to an MBP first, and had a great experience. So we decided to switch her to a MacBook as well.

Great upgrade from my 2013 Air
I bought a maxed-out Macbook Air in 2013 and have loved it for a decade. I hated that Apple had taken away magsafe but when they added it back for the 2022 Airs it got my attention since my 10 year old box was no allowed to run the latest version of macOS.
