Because it is specially made for the family and not mass-produced every detail matters. Perfecting the recipes became their favorite hobby and exchanging the best ideas throughout generations.
One of the best things I enjoy until now is family baking!
Let me tell you a little bit about my favorite memories of family baking 🙂
Childhood Baking Memories!
There is something truly indescribable about the warmth baking gives to our homes. It suddenly feels so much cozier, smells incredible and the entire house is like a bakery.
I was hypnotized by the fresh dough smell, its soft feel as you roll it with the palm of your hands on the board and the airy texture it has when you let it rest and rise.
The most exciting moment for me was when my mother placed the dough in the oven and I kept watching it impatiently from the oven’s glass door. I used to kneel so close to the oven’s door and narrow my hands around my eyes to see it better!
I remember how my mouth would open in excitement and my eyes would widen, thinking it was pure magic seeing the dough rise and getting coated in crisp golden color!
And don’t even get me started on the first moment you take it out of the oven, the first touch/poke to check if it is as soft as you wanted it to be and it is! A thousand wows when the crust is crispy and it’s fluffy from inside!

My favorite thing about this recipe is that it is easy, almost all ingredients are easily available and it is not difficult to make. You can use the toast to grab breakfast quickly if you are an early bird with a cup of coffee or tea, if not then pack it to work for breakfast or brunch just to get you going and energized.
